It's Earth time again in the form of VIRGO. Here its ruling planet, Mercury, expresses
itself through polished focus. Virgo is a mutable sign making decisions difficult for these lovely souls. Virgo represents the finished individual. After the glory of Leo this sign is a fulfillment of all the negative traits of Leo. Virgo learns to adapt to the
universe as it perceives it.
Self sufficiency and critical analysis is the earmark for this truly earth sign. These people do not need recognition for their workmanship, as just knowing that it is done well is enough for these critical souls. Virgo can be one of the most conforming people in the zodiac. They appear to be timid in certain circumstances. However they can be one of the most realistic signs out of all the signs.
Virgo is supremely honest, like the fire signs, about what they are capable of doing. They attempt to achieve through their mastery of the tools that the world has to offer them.

Virgo
can become a master healer using the herbal kingdom as its
tool. It rules the digestive aspects of assimilation as well
as the liver. If they don't process order out of chaos and
gain critical insight then they suffer physical indigestion.
Virgo has to turn its attention to detail and critical insight
and use these talents to serve others. Serve or suffer are
good examples of this signs need to establish within themselves.
Virgo can become its harshest critic. They can become immersed
in the details of life and forget to see the bigger picture.
They are great at seeing what is wrong with this picture.
They can always spot the flaw or imperfection rather than
seeing the larger scope of life.
These
lofty souls have the need to become perfect and often miss
out on opportunities that present to them a gift for future
growth. They think that they need more degrees or teachings
in order to take advantage of the possibilities that await
them. When the teacher arrives the student is ready … is a
good dictum that applies
to Virgo.
This
sixth sign has the eye for order and pattern. They can, through
research and discipline, discover the order necessary for
the universe to function as its best and highest form. Virgo
wants to change itself and the universe as it sees the flaws
inherent in the world. An example, I have a Virgo daughter
that has perfection in her job down pat, however in her home-life
order is not seen anywhere. She feels that she cannot keep
her home up to the perfection that she desires then nothing
finds a home where she lives. I must say that as she has grown
in maturity she has become more orderly.
Virgo
has the highest aesthetic standards. It is the sign of crafts
where function is united with form. One completes the other
and does not take from the other. One of the lessons in both
Virgo as well as Gemini is to learn to connect the heart and
the mind. This can allow the Virgo native to become more human
and not just a mind. These long lived souls can sustain a
really long life and never look their age. They always seem
much younger than their age implies. Virgo's are the master
of the simple life and have a good health throughout their
lives.

What
the Planets are Doing...
The
Sun moves into Virgo on August 22nd
at 11:02 am MST. We can all benefit from this move so we can
clean our closets and get organized easily and generally motivate
ourselves to accomplish all the little things we like to gloss
over.
August
28th Mercury enters Libra. Our thoughts can become
centered upon our partner. They will also become a bit more
verbal.
Venus
enters Libra on August 30th. What a lovely time for
all of us. Romance can bloom and thoughts of love will manifest.
The
New Moon is on August 30th, also. Write your goals
and get started on what you would like to manifest in your
lives. Taking pen to paper puts thought into form giving it
more power in our lives. A new start is always a blessing.
We
start the Mercury retrograde cycle on September 3rd
even though Mercury doesn’t go retrograde until September
24th. (This explains why we feel like it’s retrograde before
it even starts.) Mercury finishes its retrograde motion on
September 7th and the cycle ends on October 30th.
September
7th Jupiter goes direct so we can begin to manifest
those goals we only dreamed about for the past few months.
Many aspects on that day, so hang on as it can get interesting.
Pluto
turns around and goes direct on September 8th. As
usual change can occur for you late degree Sagittarians.

Our normal rate is $3.23 per minute.
